Susie’s Blog: News flash: Squirrels are Nuts!
We have a thriving squirrel population at Ulee’s Refuge. When not burying nuts and seeds, climbing trees and darting across the grass, they spend considerable time defending their territory from other squirrels and yelling insults at humans/dogs passing by. One particular aggressive rodent drops twigs on your unsuspecting head if you venture off the path too close to his tree refuge.
