I’m a writer who enjoys quirky cozy mysteries and I have a lot of fun writing them. I went from plotting every chapter, which felt like work, to just winging it and somehow Just Another Blog in Paradise came together and actually made sense!  Each chapter features a blog at the beginning. The blogs are written by the main character for her friends back in Minnesota, after her move to Florida. The writing reflects her impressions of a new place and new people and since Just Another Blog in Paradise is a quirky mystery, each blog carries a darker undertone. 

I moved to Florida from Minnesota and it feels like a different country! But the people are great and instead of Minnesota Nice they are Florida nice and neighbors quickly become friends.

Due to health issues I stopped writing for several years but now that I’m in the Sunshine State I definitely am writing again and loving it! The next book in the Just in Paradise series is titled “Just Another Namaste in Paradise” and it involves nicknames, karaoke, and more blogs about life in Florida. I’m diving into this next “chapter” of my writing life.
